For over two decades, I’ve been capturing the world through a lens. Based in South Hampshire, my journey with photography has been a lifelong pursuit of mastering both the light we see and the light we create. Whether I'm documenting the raw emotion of a wedding day, hanging from a harness to capture a commercial event, or standing in a pitch-black field spinning intricate geometry out of fire and LEDs, my goal remains the same: to create imagery that commands attention.

The Art & The Craft

My approach to photography is rooted in a deep understanding of the medium's history, combined with a relentless drive to push technological boundaries. I hold a BA in Photography from the University of Portsmouth and a Master’s degree from Falmouth University. This academic foundation fuels both sides of my work:

The Modern & The Experimental: I specialize in complex, long-exposure light painting, using LED orbs, fire performing, and steel wool to paint vibrant, ethereal landscapes after dark. As a licensed drone pilot, I also take my work to the skies, capturing unique aerial perspectives.
The Traditional: I maintain a deep respect for the roots of the craft, regularly working with large-format film and traditional darkroom processes. This disciplined, deliberate approach to filmmaking informs how I shoot digitally, making every frame count.

Sharing the Passion

Photography has never been just a job for me; it’s a language. For the past 14 years, I have shared that language with the next generation of image-makers as an educator, currently teaching as part of the team at Peter Symonds College in Winchester. Teaching keeps me sharp, constantly curious, and forever inspired by the evolution of visual culture.
